Abstract

 The main objective of this paper is to investigate practices, political propaganda messages in 10th presidential ELECTION and presenting a local model of advertising. The main question is whether POLITICAL ADVERTISING affect public participation in Iran's 10th presidential ELECTION? To answer this question, 9 main variables of POLITICAL ADVERTISING: the principle of equality before the law, the principle of equal rights, inviolable principle of the lives and property of all, the principle of the prohibition of the Inquisition, the principle of intellectual security for all, the right to express themselves in public, the principle of free education, the principle of housing for all and the principle of jurisdiction security for all are considered as effective factors on people participation in METHODS, MESSAGES AND ADVERTISING SLOGANS. The population in this study is all members of parliament. Due to limitation of members of the community, all are considered as sample and are questioned. The results indicate a proof for the assumptions which means that approach, messages and slogans of political propaganda in the 10th presidential ELECTION could have a high and very high levels impact on public participation. From the perspective of MPs, the impact of messages, METHODS and slogans of the 10th presidential ELECTION had the same turnout between the 3 indexes.
