Pages

  145-175

Abstract

Western literary schools have failed to attract the attention of poets and men of letters for long due to their lacking in genuine human and ethical quality. Launching Mahdaviat theory of LITERATURE deriving from Shiite sublime belief in the Savior, can gather all humans from all time and place under the banner of justice, faith, equality and monotheism. LITERATURE is not to be considered as an end in itself, but as a means for human’s ultimate bliss. LITERARY ELEMENTS such as genres, themes and techniques have the potential to be employed within the framework of Mahdaviat in order to lead humanity worldwide to happiness. The article is to elaborate on Mahdaviat literary theory and discuss the above-mentioned elements.
