Abstract

The way of relations between SCIENCE and RELIGION was of important questions which has received different answers in past centuries. In this paper, it is tried to argue that albeit of great developments of SCIENCE and its extensive role in human’s life, humankind needing to RELIGION was of his/ her fundamental requirements, and this is RELIGION that can answer human’s fundamental questions, then there is no rational justification for view pints about limitations of RELIGION. Of course there are similarities between SCIENCE and RELIGION that can make possible their more cooperation which some of them are in experience, explanation, objectivity, MODELs and PARADIGMs of RELIGION and SCIENCE. Meantime, each RELIGION and SCIENCE has their special FUNCTION. In this aspect, we can show some roles of RELIGION in SCIENCE including its role in taking PRESUPPOSITIONS of SCIENCE, and forming theories and laws of SCIENCE. Scientific developments, also, can help human to better understand and explain religious beliefs.
