Abstract

Objectives: DEATH ANXIETY is described in the term of predicting and fearing of self and other's dying processing. The present study was carried out with the aim of investigating relationships of DEATH ANXIETY with RELIGIOUS COPING, attachment to god and acting on religious beliefs.Methods: In a correlation study, a sample of 347 participants was selected using stratified sampling method. Participants answered to DEATH ANXIETY, Acting on Religious Beliefs, RELIGIOUS COPING, & Attachment to God Scales. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis.Results: The results showed a significant relationship between the anxiety of death and RELIGIOUS COPING strategies, anxiety and death to God's attachment styles and religious beliefs. Among the variables, avoidant and anxious attachment styles God enough power regression model were used to predict DEATH ANXIETY (t=5.39, p<.001).Conclusion: The authors of the research conclude insecure attachment to god should be considered more important religious variable in the relationship between various dimensions of RELIGIOSITY and DEATH ANXIETY p between the foreign media usage and generalized trust and interpersonal trust as well. Moreover there is a direct and significant relationship between the local media usage and generalized, interpersonal and institutional trust, while there has been an inverse and significant relationship between institutional trust and the foreign media usage.Conclusion: Social trust is increased through using local media and vice versa is reduced through using foreign media.
