Abstract

Objectives: The aim of this research is considering the degree of STUDENTS of ISLAMIC AZAD UNIVERSITY adherence to RELIGIOUS PRACTICES and considering the degree of its effect on behaviors and personal and social actions. Regarding that university is a place that one of its main purposes is to develop responsible human and faithful and law-abiding citizens, the university can act by implementing effective methods for growing generation of believers.Method: Method of the research is attribution and surveying and tools of data collection is questionnaire. Statistical society of the research is all STUDENTS (male and female) of ISLAMIC AZAD UNIVERSITY of Rasht at different educational levels. 600 thousands STUDENTS were chosen randomly.Result: The Findings of the research show that significant percent of STUDENTS (73.4 percent) know adherence to RELIGIOUS PRACTICES as the most important factor of observing ETHICAL AND CULTURAL PRINCIPLES. There is significant difference among STUDENTS attitudes based on variables such as gender, different field of study, educational level and their job to the subject of research.Conclusion: The author of the survey concludes that from STUDENTS’ point of view there is relationship between their attitudes to religion and RELIGIOUS PRACTICES and observing religious principles and Islamic dressing, polite behavior, avoiding impolite behaviors and swearing, sense of responsibility to others, observing ETHICAL AND CULTURAL PRINCIPLES.
