Abstract

The present research is performed with study the categories which can form a FIELD(in opinion Bourdieu).Also, this research wanted to answer this question that “Is CARICATURE changed to an artistic FIELD in Iran? The the orical approach formed with using of the opinion of Pierre Bourdieu. According to the theorical approach that there is a relationship between the cultural, economic, social and symbolic capital, habitus, taste and formation this FIELD. A FIELD is constituted by artist and his or her work, cultural and social interfaces, the audiences who is attacted to this FIELD and its history. The CARICATURE FIELD in this research is evaluated with the indexes such as intended capital, taste, cultural interfaces, habitus and action. Research method used is survey method and the technique of questionnaire .Also is used from historical method and documentary technique. The statistical society in this research is including the Iranian active and practitioner caricaturists in this FIELD .The majority of this sample is just 50 caricaturists who helped to the performing of the research. In fact, in the presented research either the caricaturists who cooperated with the house of the CARICATURE or the caricaturists who disagree with this house and active caricaturists in the house of the CARICATURE is placed in the society of sample. The result of this research showed that the CARICATURE has the extent of the indexes of a FIELD and is in the young and embryonic level. The CARICATURE is not considered as a widespread FIELD in the modern Iranian society.
