Abstract

In this research, ENERGY CARRIERS’ demand of different consumption sectors has been forecasted on regression and FUZZY LINEAR REGRESSION approaches considering economic and social indicators. It should be noted that energy carriesr are petroleum products, natural gas and electricity and consumption sectors are residential and commercial sectors, transport, industry, agricultur and powerplants. Actual data of Iran from 1993 to 2010 are used to select suitable models and to illustrate capability of the approach in this regard. Furthermore, the ENERGY CARRIERS’ demand of different sectors for the period of 2012 to 2021 is estimated.
