Abstract

The right of access to information is one of the most important principles that has been specially considered by most legal systems and plays the undeniable role regarding the participation of citizens in democratic societies. It should be noted that today, this issue has been accepted despite differences in Iranian and French legal systems. On the other hand, the right of access to administrative information and documents or access to administrative files during administrative proceedings is one of the main elements of defense rights which plays an important role in protecting the rights and interests of individuals against decisions of administrative authorities.
