Abstract

 Sustainable development is considered as the principles of economic, social and political world. Because of the role that tourism can play in this regard, particularly in countries such as Iran, the need and necessity of sustainable tourism is very important. Success and sustainable growth of tourism depends on the proper functioning and coordination of the various factors that are closely related to each other. One of the most important factors is, "the SECURITY of tourists and tourist destinations ". In today's world SECURITY as the most important factor in the formulation of strategies for the development of tourism in the world and the issues directly related to tourism. The purpose of this study was to analyze THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM in Tehran using Maslow's pyramid and respond to the major – and that most tourists feel safe in Tehran of and what kind of relation is between tourism feel of SECURITY and faithfulness. Methods is descriptive and analytical survey that using Maslow's pyramid describes the importance of SECURITY in tourism and tourists in the fall of 1393, 130 questionnaires of tourists that arrived in Tehran was completed. For data analysis Pearson correlation test and factor analysis were used. The results showed that the four factors in the lack of SECURITY in Tehran tourists are impressive: the weakness of social capital hosts and tourists, poor city planning and population density, lack of safety and SECURITY of life and lack of public oversight. The results showed a direct correlation exists between the sense of SECURITY of tourists and their loyalty means that the tourists feel secure in the loyalty (repeat trip, staying in travel, promotion of tourism) increases. According to the MASLOW PYRAMID, and in order to achieve sustainable tourism development in Tehran should feel SECURITY and safety of tourists increased to the second level of the pyramid Maslow Maslow's pyramid behind the fifth stage of self-actualization, or THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM receipts.
