Abstract

This study aimed to have a comparison among FUNCTION OF FAMILY, ILLOGICAL BELIEFS, and SELF-CONCEPT among addicted and non-addicted young people in the city of Khoy. In this causal-comparative study, 30 addicted young people were selected from addiction clinics as well as 30 non-addicted young people as the control group by convenience sampling in 1392-1391. Both groups responded to the questionnaires of McMaster's FUNCTION OF FAMILY, Jones' ILLOGICAL BELIEFS, and Rogers' SELF-CONCEPT and then the data were analyzed bymultivariate analysis of variance. The results showed that addicted and non-addicted young people have a meaningful difference in terms of FUNCTION OF FAMILY, ILLOGICAL BELIEFS, and SELF-CONCEPT.
