Abstract

In this research, the identification and prioritization of factors affecting the companies' incentives to EXPORT from PORTS has been addressed. Nowshahr port is selected as a sample for study. Therefore, the needs of the two groups of EXPORTing and transporting (forwarders) as a research community were studied. With the advancement of technology and the changing needs of customers, continuous development of PORTS is considered as one of the requirements of the port, and PORTS should recognize these needs and take action to resolve them. In carrying out this research, the most important factors in decision making for EXPORT from port were identified by reviewing and studying past research.Delphi method was used for extracting and evaluating the factors affecting EXPORT companies. In the next step, eight factors were selected as the most important factors. Finally, using the hierarchical analysis process to prioritize factors, it was shown that the two groups have similarities and differences in their choices. Although both groups have the same sensitivity to customs formalities, the level of technology used in the port, the availability of empty and safe PORTS at PORTS and loading speeds, EXPORTers have a greater emphasis on providing electronic information (Internet service), while forwarders have a ship-to-ship They consider harbor more important.
