Abstract

Today, business organizations have become one of the most diverse and complex systems. Therefore, the scientific knowledge of this phenomenon requires analysis of its different structural dimensions. Increasing global trade has led to a shift in port generation and fundamental changes in the logistics cycle, transportation, import and export of goods, as well as the revolution in the offshore industry, including the construction of new ports. The general objective of this research is to investigate the effect of ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE on the amount of exports and imports at the General Office of Ports and Marine Affairs of Guilan Province (Bandar Anzali, Iran). The research method is descriptive and correlational. The data gathering method is a field and data collection tool is a questionnaire. The statistical population of this study is customers (including exporters and importers) of the GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF PORTS AND MARINE AFFAIRS OF GUILAN PROVINCE (Bandar Anzali). Considering the number of statistical population and using Morgan's table, the sample size was 384 people. A total of 425 questionnaires were used by non-inferential sampling method available to customers. Finally, 394 questionnaires were collected from customers, and the collected data were analyzed. The results of the research showed that the ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE tends to increase the level of EXPORT AND IMPORT.
