Abstract

 In today’s competitive market winner is who has the closest relationship with the client to establish and maintain, It is therefore appropriate to provide facilities for ships entering the port and port services right in the shortest possible time and a rapid withdrawal of vessels from the port of many SHIPPING LINES to the port can attract. The aim of this study was to investigate ways of attracting more SHIPPING LINES to the port of Khorramshahr. Using SERVQUAL MODEL and develop the best strategy with SWOT MODEL to study the best ways to increase the volume of the port was to export and import, absorption lines and shipping companies and port performance and efficiency of the formulation. In this study, the Wilcoxon test for primary and secondary research and test hypotheses Friedman ranking for priority service quality dimensions were used. The results showed that SHIPPING LINES expected from physical factors, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy rather than results, which indicate gaps in customers’ dissatisfaction with the quality of service provided by the port of Khorramshahr. The largest gap was in empathy and the lowest gap in the response. Also from the standpoint of SHIPPING LINES in terms of importance, the warranty or guarantee is higher than in the other dimension. Finally, the strategy has been to close the aggressive strategies and port authorities should try to strengths and opportunities, and to take full advantage of this strategic move.
