Abstract

The purpose of this article is to introduce the book of Continuity and Change in Public Policy and Management/fa?page=1&sort=1&ftyp=all&fgrp=all&fyrs=all" target="_blank">Public Policy and Management by Christopher Pollite and Geert Bouckaert. This book is the result of a comparative study of two public police and hospital services in Brighton and Leuven in both England and Belgium from 1965 to 2005 and attempts to formulate a scientific framework for change by examining the influence of political-social systems and the majority on Public Policy and Management/fa?page=1&sort=1&ftyp=all&fgrp=all&fyrs=all" target="_blank">Public Policy and Management guidelines. By expanding and developing the three-level model of Hall organizational change, the authors have designed a framework for organizational change patterns in the form of BEST charts. Considering the level of change and its quality, this model includes four change forms: short, sudden and cruel changes (Earthquake), Tortoise changes, Boomerang changes, and gradual changes leading to fundamental changes (Stalactite).
