Abstract

An attempts are made in paper to evaluate the low-income housing policies in the city of Tabriz. The purpose of the study is to highlight the merits and dismerits of the adopted policies. To achieve this the Land Preparation and Apartment Construction strategies are studied in general and some sample projects in particular. The findings indicate that there are major shortcomings both in the policy aspects and implementation sides. At the end some recommendations are brought forward to overcome the existed weaknesses.
