Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine the Validity and Reliability of Persian version of Emotional Intelligence questionnaire in consumers Sport for All. For this purpose, 380 males and females completed the questionnaire. After applying the translate-retranslate technique, face Validity confirmed by 7 experts. For determining the construct Validity, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) based on structural equations was used. Internal consistency of questionnaire obtained by Cronach's alpha and interclass coefficient and the Reliability evaluated by Pearson correlation coefficient under test-retest method. The Results showed that the model with six factors confirmed. In addition, the questionnaire had absolute fit index, internal consistency and acceptable Reliability that represent acceptable Validity and Reliability of Persian version questionnaire with 33 items. In conclusion, Persian version of Emotional Intelligence questionnaire in consumers Sport for All recommended to measure athlete's Emotional Intelligence.
