Abstract

The present study was conducted with the aim of modeling, explaining the mechanism of effectiveness and testing the role of SELF-AWARENESS and identity in the process of the impact of AWARENESS OF GOD on MENTAL HEALTH. This research is a descriptive study using correlation, which utilizes PATH ANALYSIS for analyzing the data of four related scales, which were administered simultaneously on 225 samples. The findings show that there is a goodness of fit in the causal model and in the pattern of PATH ANALYSIS of AWARENESS OF GOD to MENTAL HEALTH through the mediation of "self awareness" and “identity-finding". Therefore, the mechanism of the impact of AWARENESS OF GOD‘sand His remembrance in serenity and MENTAL HEALTH is explainable through the processes of SELF-AWARENESS and IDENTITY-FINDING, and consequently, the personal functions in unity, solidarity and mental balance.
