Abstract

This research has been conducted to identify and explain the relationship between e-procurement variables and improving the shipping services of the Islamic Republic of Iran shipping lines company. This research is applied in terms of purpose, explanation and, as a result of the research, applied (due to the outcome of the presentation of a model) and, in terms of data type, a quantitative and qualitative combination that is used as an exploratory blend method. The statistical population of the study consisted of all persons active in the logistics sector of the shipping company of the Islamic Republic of Iran which is 100 people. The sample size was calculated using Cochran's formula, 82 were selected by simple random sampling. The research questionnaire consisted of 25 questions in 5 groups. The validity of the research was content-formal and its reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha of 0/943. The results of the research show that 5 groups of procurement process (3 subscribers), follow the same and common policies (5 subscribers), standardization and mechanization of supply and procurement (9 subscribers), improving communication with supplier companies (4 sub-subscribers) And financial management (4 subscribers) are involved in designing an optimal Electronic Procurement process in the Islamic Republic of Iran shipping company.
