Abstract

Aim: This study aimed to investigate Evaluating of family-based HOMEOPATHIC intervention program on mother anxiety and bed wetting the preschool children in Tehran.Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study with pretest – posttest and control group.12 children 4 to 6 years old preschoolers and their mothers participated in this study who multistage cluster sampling method were selected. The subjects were randomly divided into two groups of experimental and control groups, so that each group had six children and mother. The experimental group of family-centered intervention program based on similar treatment within one month and fifteen days. While the control group received no intervention. The instruments used in this study, the General Health Questionnaire GHQ-28 and DSM-5 diagnostic chart developed by the researchers based on the criteria for the evaluation of enuresis.Results: Information collected were analyzed with using univariate and multivariate analysis of covariance and also to determine the trend of enuresis using the slope and frequency.Conclusion: The results showed that after intervention, mean scores on anxiety reduction and improvement of in the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group. As a result, family-based HOMEOPATHIC intervention program reduces mother anxiety and improve bedwetting children.
