Abstract

 Among an ancient texts of Universe, Oedipus Shahriar story as an indicator for relevance and similarity of Mythology with historical stories, owing to a lots of examples found in the midst of nations histories, in which a boy is hostile to his father, for instance in Greek stories also, if we refer to a prehistoric age and a period in which, primitive gods fought together, the darky times that not even have sun in it, the seas were boiling, earthquakes had the earth under its power, we will comprehend that battles between fathers and sons, have consistently occurred in these Myths. From the beginning of era of Myths in Greece, Kronos the son of Uranus, fought with him and segmented him in pieces, gained his father and subsequently, his son Zeus deposed he by castrating he. At historical age_ Greek Mythology is the same event occurs in the Myths of Oedipus Shahriar. Some one who unwillingly killed his father and married with his mother and eventually he left this world with a tragic death, it has been the source creation of a perspective that is also called “ Oedipus complex” . Furthermore, his story in the rich and very Old Persian has also a sample. Where as Iran and Greece have had relations, struggles and hostility together from Acheamenian times, so their stories_ according to a point of view that, knows all Myths have a same root, which have changed and have been developed in different lands_ they are very similar to each other. One of these stories also the famous Khosrow and Shirin poem by Nizami Ganjavi. In this epopee Siruye son of Khosrow is an instance for Oedipus Shahriar and he is very looks like to him. Therefore in this essay, we are going to recognize the elements of resemblance of these two individuals in addition their story and consequently we could proved it, because of common features, that are strongly visible between Oedipus and Siruye, we can say that from “ Myth_ Comparison” view which in it, one of the parties of Comparison is Mythical person, Siruye is simulated to character of Oedipus Shahriar.
