Abstract

A one-pot, catalyst- and SOLVENT-FREE approach has been developed for the stereoselective synthesis of fluorinated tetrahydropyrimido [1, 2-b] benzothiazoles. The three-component condensation reaction of an aldehyde and a trifluoromethyl - dicarbonyl compound in the presence of 2-AMINOBENZOTHIZOLE occurs in high yields at 90oC.
