Abstract

JaIāl aI-Dīn Suyūtī"s method of interpreting the Qurān is different from that of JaIāl aI-Dīn MahaIli"s, despite surface similarities in the two scholars" methods. Suyūtī pays more attention to the interpRETATION of the text. This article deals with the significance of narration in Suyūtī"s epilogue to Tafsīr al-Jalālāyn.
