Abstract

This study thies to find the main elements and obstacels of soccer violence. We would like to know if the violence is the result of cultural and social poverty frome the view point of celebrities. Considering the young peoples excitement and probable contact between young spectators and footbal celebrities, a questionnaire was designed. Findings were tested. Most spectators of Azadi stadium are young, and watch footbal of high level teams. Therefore violence in ( younger people is more probable. This was a field study using a standard questionnaire; a pilot study was first conducted. The researcherorganized a class for enurmarators. They were sent to fill out our questionnaire using face - to - face interview. Data were then checked and classified using the complete questionnaires. Descriptive statistics correlations and factor analysis were conducted using SPSS software. Several fundumental characteristics such as cultural, economic and social ones in celebrities were introduced, based on which general suggestions were made. One of the findings suggests that the excitement of football for the younger generation is associated with high emotion and energy.Footbal is the only cheap and exciting sport and the main hobby of young generation, especially the students and unemployed. But excitement should not necessarily lead to violence. Therefore, releasing the excitement is educatable, and we can stop the violence. VlOlence instrnments such as firacrackers or using taboo words can transfer the violence from the soccer spectatossto the celebrities (mainly footbal players). When the spectators seethe play (specaily betweenplayers and judges). the violence will be spread inside and outside of the stadium and makes them furious. This may lead to physical contact, vandalism and ripper. Providing culture improvement through the massmedia and sport newspapers, producing other kinds of entertainment and youth employments are among solutions. The excitement of the youth should be educated by their family, school and the mass media. Educating the sport counseller is suggested.Police participation should be well planned and they should be specifically trained to resolve the footbal violence.
