Abstract

Due to increasing prevalence of cardio-vascular diseases especially MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION and also insufficient information about exercise REHABILITATION for treatment of cardiac patients, this investigation has been carried out to study the effect of a period of aerobic exercise training on the heart of myocardial infracted patients.The exercise program consisted of a daily 30-60 minutes of Training, 3 times a week for 8 weeks.The subjects were selected from among patients who recently had MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION. They were randomly divided in to two experimental and control groups, respectively. To measure the dependent variables of the study, the developed medical instruments were used. For statistical analysis of the results, the spss/win software computer based on the research, hypotheses were used.
