Abstract

ISIS is a new Takfiri group which is derived from al-Qaeda (History) and due to being new, it has remained unknown and because of the way it treats its surrounding phenomena like Syria, IRAQ, and IRAN, it has become even more ambiguous! (Problem) It should be mentioned that a lot of analyses have been done in order to know ISIS; however, most of them are journalistic and more importantly none of them uses SWOT model in its scientific analysis. (History) Therefore, the main question is this: How can the strategies of getting out of the CRISIS of political conduct of ISIS-IRAN be presented based on the SWOT model? (Question) It seems that the method of reciprocal conduct of ISIS-IRAN follows a lot of internal and external categories. (Hypothesis) Therefore, the present paper aims at achieving the political conduct of the two and presenting strategies to get out of the present CRISIS between them. (Objective) The SWOT model, which is based on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in two internal and external dimensions, helps the article in testing its hypothesis and reaching its goal. (Methodology)Using the SWOT model in analyzing ISIS-IRAN, combining and measuring the impacts of SWOT components regarding ISIS-IRAN and presenting several strategies based on them, showing the inability of SWOT model in analyzing Eastern phenomena, and presenting several new models in analyzing political phenomena based on SWOT are the new points of this article. (Finding)
