Abstract

HAPPINESS is a mental status that can’t be merely considered by mind attitude and regardless social conditions of people. Indeed, HAPPINESS is rooted in society, so that people HAPPINESS increase is an index of a good society.Accordingly, scientists views such as Gidnz, Chelbi, Argail, Turner, Danger and Bisvas Dayner… have been used to sociological study of youth HAPPINESS status and it’s relationships with social capital. It would be searched by survey method on 18 -29 aged youth in Tehran. Descriptive findings show that pleasantness feelings mean, positive social trends and evaluation of life between studied youth are upper than medium.As a result, rate of HAPPINESS between respondents is higher than average slightly. Also, findings show that although, mean of social capital between studied youth is higher than average slightly, but QUANTITY OF SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS have mean lower than medium. While average of QUALITY OF SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS is equal to 59.41, Bivariate Analysis shows that there’s a positive relation between QUALITY OF SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS and youth HAPPINESS. Also there’s a positive relation between QUANTITY OF SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS and youth exhilaration. At last, according to Regression analysis, it can be concluded that quality variable of social relationships in compared with QUANTITY OF SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS is more affectivein increase of youth HAPPINESS.
