Abstract

Background and Objective: Social security and social security are one of the most important issues of the development of societies and especially developing societies, which are influenced by social networks. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to explain the relationship between social networks and social security feeling among the citizens of Khorramabad city. Method: The research method was descriptive correlational. The statistical population of the study consisted of all citizens of Khorramabad city. Based on the Morgan tables, 279 people were selected as a sample by cluster random sampling method. The data collection tools were social recruitment social network and social security sensation of Rastegar Khaled and Mohammadian. Collected data was analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient, T single-group, independent T-groups and one way analysis of variance. Findings: The findings of the research show that there is a significant relationship between the use of social networks and the sense of social security and all its sub-components (identity, cultural, intellectual and collective security). Also, there is no difference between the use of social networks and the sense of social security and all its sub-components among women and men in terms of their educational level. Conclusion: social networks can play a positive role in promoting the sense of community security, but this is conditional on identifying vulnerabilities in them and promoting social status, and also requires the coherence of all responsible institutions, paying attention to the values of society and recognizing the situation.
