Abstract

Background and Objective: Trafficking in goods by gangs is a complex and multidimensional phenomenon that requires investment, decision making, and logical response. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explain the structural components of the police in preventing the formation of these bands. Method: The method of this descriptive-analytical survey is survey and the statistical society includes police experts, the Anti-Smuggling and Currency Control Committees, the Customs and the Organization of Public Injuries. The data collection tool is a questionnaire. A 400-sample sample was used to collect data using stratified sampling. In order to provide structural validity, the research framework was used and the reliability of the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0. 88. Data analysis was performed using Paired T-test, single sample T, Friedman test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Findings: The findings indicate that in the present situation, the structural components of the police such as organizational structure, organizational strategy, legal authority and police information technology have a very small effect on preventing the formation of smuggling gangs. Conclusion: In order to prevent the formation of gangs of smuggling and to increase the strength of the resistance economy and strengthen the national economy, the police must prioritize the use of information technology, change in organizational strategy and change in the organizational structure of the police.
