Abstract

Among the three components of language in their traditional classification (grammar, logic and rhetoric), HUSSERL places MEANING in the second component i.e. logic. He dose not observe an essential bond between MEANING and its outer configuration in SIGNs or in human relations. Therefore one can consider MEANING independent from the SIGNitive relations. But according to DERRIDA, there exists an essential interlacing between MEANING and its SIGNs and MEANING can never be separated from its linguistic, semiological and historical context each of whom forms a system of reference which polints beyond the self-presence of the MEANING. DERRIDA tries, by proving the essential bond between SIGN and MEANING to question the whole program of HUSSERL’s phenomenology.
