Abstract

Regarding establishments of IRIS training centers and schools and lack of local indicators for qualifying these centers, this study investigated quality assessment of IRIS training system for Navy officers and attempts to present an optimal model. The key question over which this study is conducted is what optimal model for IRIS training system is and what the zone of proximal development is. Research method of the study was descriptive and in terms of purpose it is an applied one. Study population subsumes 4512 individuals from commanders, instructors, and graduates; sampling is stratified random and it includes 377 individuals: data collection procedure was library-based, field note, questionnaire and interview. To determine variables and dimensions from theoretical literature and to analyze confirmatory factor from both Delphi and AMOS software were used. Confirmatory Factor Analysis shows that this model has a goodness-of-fit and benchmarks could measure the structure accurately. Using the average test, it was investigated to check whether the proposed size, is statistically confirmed? Finally, results Was processed by Experts point of view and through few benchmarks deletion pertinent to local condition. Optimal model consists of three dimensions, nine variables and fifty-nine bench marks.
