Abstract

Introduction: Today, interpersonal Conflict, especially among young people, is considered as a Social harm, one of the important indicators of the emergence and spread of Violence in society, which occurs among young people and threatens Social security and hinders Social development. Therefore, the present study aimed to identify the Social factors affecting Conflict and interpersonal Violence among young people with an emphasis on Social security. Method: This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of nature and method of survey and correlation. The target population includes young people aged 30-18 years in Hamadan who using Cochran's formula, the number of samples was 382 people and through random multi-stage cluster sampling method were selected and answered the questionnaire. Findings: Results showed that there is a significant inverse relationship between factors such as the level of interaction with family, interaction with friends, commitment to conventional and conventional goals of society, participation and involvement in daily activities and commitment to Social values with the tendency to Conflict and interpersonal Violence among young people. Furthermore, the regression results also showed that the highest direct ability to predict Conflict and interpersonal Violence was through the level of commitment to the conventional and conventional goals of society and the lowest was the level of interaction with the family. Conclusion: The phenomenon of Conflict and Violence in urban communities such as Hamadan are among the harms that are affected by various Social factors. Therefore, in the city of Hamadan, it is necessary for these factors to be considered by the executive and responsible bodies so that they can prevent the continuation and intensification of the phenomenon of Conflict and Violence among the Youth by taking appropriate measures, including strengthening Social capital and the mentioned factors.
