Abstract

The present study aims to investigate Womenperception of social security in the Family environment. To achieve the research goal, qualitative research methods (Grounded theory) have been applied. In the same vein, 15 Women from the city of Karaj were interviewed and data were coded and analyzed accordingly. Fiirst, interviews were conducted with each respondent, and after the data extraction and analysis, another responder was referred until the research reached saturation with fifteen people. The findings then were explicated in seven categories in the framework of Grounded theory. In this research, it has been shown that the sense of security is considered as a spectrum. On one of the extremes of this spectrum, , security can be counted as influenced by the external structure of the Family environment (as an example of society). While on the other extreme, the sense of security in the Family environment stands. The nonexistence of this sense can bring a lot of consequences for society. The results showed that honesty, life satisfaction, self-confidencet, and intimacy are factors affecting the sense of security in the Family. In addition, the consequences of a lack of security in the home environment can lead to debauch, addiction, a tendency to go out, and ill humour.
