Abstract

The aim of the present study is to examine the effect of teaching teaching Neuro-Linguistic Programming on couples' MARITAL ADAPTATION referring to consultation centers in Isfahan. The research method was quasi-experimental, so 30 couples referred to consultation center were selected through voluntary method and were put into two groups via random assignment method (one control and one experimental group). The experimental group was received teaching teaching Neuro-Linguistic Programming by the researcher. The research instrument in this study was Spider's marital status questionnaire. The data analysis was carried out in two descriptive and inferential levels. The comparison of mean scores of MARITAL ADAPTATION posttest in mentioned groups and the scores of analysis of covariance in MARITAL ADAPTATION test indicated that there is a significant difference between experimental and control groups regarding all subscales of MARITAL ADAPTATION. In general, the results of the study showed that the MARITAL ADAPTATION would increase through the effect of teaching NLP.
