Abstract

The present paper seeks to identify the dimensions andcomponents (elements and concepts) and determine therelationship between the dimensions and components ofEconomic Policies, and ultimately to design a model forassessing Economic Policies adopted by the IslamicConsultative Assembly of Iran, including the seventh, eighthand Ninth (1393-1383). The method of research is based onthe qualitative method, the data theory of the foundation. Also, interviews with 16 experts from the legislature in theIslamic Consultative Assembly were conducted with deepsnowball sampling. After coding the open, axial and selectivedata of the collected data, 159 primary concepts, 45 subcategories and 8 main categories were extracted. The finaloutcome of this study is the design of a 5-dimensional model, with its five dimensions in the form of four pillars, inputs, process components and classified products. The findings ofthis study indicate the domination of the political climate ofthe country over the policy environment, the rule of politicson the economy, followed by the confrontational legislative, administrative, and administrative aspects with theinstitutional, structural and cultural challenges in the policymaking process. It is therefore proposed that legislatorsemphasize national interests by adopting a subjectiveapproach and avoiding the involvement of politicalapproaches in the policy-making process. Also, in order toalign the policies with the upstream documents, it is essentialto form special committees in Parliament.
