Abstract

Shiite studies centers have been established to explain Shiite teachings and specific knowledge as well as the Shiites formation. Acquiring knowledge of the status of Shiite studies centers, the mission of Shiite centers, their formulation and search for their goals and approaches is the mission of this research and it intends to identify the mentioned centers, to analyze their status in structural and content aspects to make their formation in homogeneous categories possible. This can be considered important for changing the methods and goals of Shiite centers and opening theoretical perspectives for further research to reduce its existing shortcomings. The method of the present research is qualitative and deals with the ups and downs and trends of Shiite studies with a descriptive-analytical method.
