Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between Political interactions and social relations of City council members and Social Development in Isfahan Dolatabad. The method of this research is survey and the statistical population is 150 scientific, cultural and religious elites of Isfahan city. Data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was measured by face validity and reliability of items by Cronbach's alpha. Questionnaires were completed and Fisher's exact test, t-test and Pearson's test were used in SPSS software. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the Political interactions of City council members and the Social Development of the city. The dimensions of social services, medical facilities, social participation, environment, security and life satisfaction have a positive and significant relationship with the Political interactions of City council members. And there was no significant relationship between Educational facilities and women's rights and Gender equality. Social Development in the city was elite in terms of elite (statistical population) and there was no significant relationship between Gender, occupation, Education of respondents and research variables. Regression analysis showed that 12. 3% of the variance of Social Development of the city is explained by the Political interactions of City council members.
