COMPARISON OF META COGNITIVE BELIEVES AND MINDFUL AWARENESS AMONG HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS WITH MORE AND LESS FORGIVENESS IN NAJAFABAD CITY

Abstract

 Aim of this research was to compare the meta-cognitive believes and MINDFUL AWARENESS among the HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS with more and less FORGIVENESS in NAJAFABAD, Isfahan. To do this, 100 teachers with high FORGIVENESS level are compared with 100 teachers with low FORGIVENESS level. According to Morgan table, 300 students were selected randomly. Participants firstly answered a FORGIVENESS questionnaire by Wright et al (1998) with 0.87 reliability rate and then they were divided into two groups: 100 people with high FORGIVENESS and 100 people with less FORGIVENESS. Then, each group answered to MCQ questionnaire by Wales (1997) with reliability 0.73 and mindfulness questionnaires by Bauer (2006) with reliability 0.90.It is a causal-comparative research and results of the analysis showed that there is a significant difference between the mean scores of meta cognitive beliefs and their dimensions with mindfulness among the teachers with high and less FORGIVENESS level. Given these results and the lack of simultaneous studying of the structures in the previous studies, with these FORGIVENESS levels, the reformation of the structure in the population, especially those with low FORGIVENESS, must be considered.
