Abstract

The discussion about the LOAN WORDS in THE HOLY KORAN is a very old one in the koranic studies. It has been under consideration in the areas of linguistics, etymology, and philology in the world's scientific centers and it has led to the creation of some works- either in the past or at the present. The existence or absence of Arabicized in THE HOLY KORAN has been discussed from centuries ago. Pondering over the speeches of the proponents of each leads us to the fact that both are searching for one reality and have just a logomachy; and that each group has looked at the subject from a different perspective.The universality and eternity of the Koran have been emphasized since the beginning of the descending of the verses. Human beings have been in general addressed by THE HOLY KORAN, regardless their color, race, and language. It meant by this, THE HOLY KORAN emphasizes on common and eternal meanings, THE HOLY KORAN had to been expressed and manifested through on language namely Arabic; nevertheless, the existence of the LOAN WORDS in it, does not contradict its sacredness and holiness. All its words have been created by God.
