Abstract

International scientific cooperation is an important and influential factor in the planning and policy-making process of countries, so that this collaboration is usually through the publication of collaborative research papers by international scholars. In this paper, the trend of the publication of scientific articles of Industrial engineering in the world and Iran and with emphasis on international scientific cooperation has been analyzed and analyzed. The basis of this research is to study the number of 148240 scientific articles of Industrial engineering published in 55 international journals and 3424 articles published by Iranian researchers related to the last 50 years by survey-descriptive method. The results show that the publication of Industrial engineering papers in the last decade has had a leap, with over 52% of the total publication of articles in this decade and 48% of the total publication of articles related to the countries of the United States, China and the United Kingdom. In the meantime, Iran has the world’ s fifth and first place in the region. International participation in the publication of scientific articles of Iranian engineering industry with other countries is 26. 3%, so that the average citation to these articles is higher than the publication of articles by Iranian researchers alone, and Iran most cooperates quantitatively with countries, the United States, Canada England and Australia, the network of cooperation shows that the power of international scientific cooperation; the countries of the United States, Britain, Australia and Germany with Iran are stronger than other countries and in terms of quality of cooperation with the countries of the United States, the United States, Canada and Malaysia have more referrals.
