Title

The impact of technical and vocational training on increasing trainees job seeking in Tehran Province

Abstract

 The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of technical and vocational training on increasing employment behavior of apprentices seeking job in the Department of Tehran Province. The persons that were selected by convenience sampling method, consisted of40 graduates seeking job from governmental technical and vocational training center No. 4in Tehran province. Types of this semi-experimental research were pre-test and post-test in addition to groups of test and control. The sample tests were divided into two groups of 20 persons in the experimental and control groups. The test and the control group received the vocational and employment training while the control group did not receive any training. Research instruments included Library information and standard questionnaire was from employment behavior of Abedi and Salehi (1384). Analyzing of the results, descriptive and consequential statistics, independent samples of t-test and covariance analysis were performed in the SPSS23 software. Results of this study was shown that there is a significant difference between the experimental and the control groups in the average of employment behavior (P<0. 05). In the result of this research, technical and vocational training will increase employment behavior and components in the apprentices seeking job.
