Abstract

The business environment is one of the factors affecting the performance of the companies and managers, or business owners cannot change or improve it. The purpose of this study is to reach a comprehensive understanding of the importance of indicators for improving the business environment and assessing their performance in housing Investment, which is one of the most important economic sectors in Iran. This is an analytical survey study, and the data were collected by a questionnaire. After validation of the questionnaire, it was distributed among real and legal mass constructors of Mazandaran Province who had a university degree in civil engineering, architecture, and other related fields of construction. For statistical analysis, the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) model was used. According to the study results, of the 10 indicators of the business environment, the 3 indicators of getting credit from the bank, protecting investors, and conditions and terms of taking permits are the most critical factors affecting the Investment of the Housing sector. Also, the indicator of access to infrastructure services has the highest performance in this field.
