Abstract

In this research, asymmetric complexes [Ru(Cp)(CO) (PPh3)Cl] and [Ru(Cp) (CO)(PPh3)I] have been synthesized and inproared, visible-ultraviolet, Proton-Carbon nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectra have been studied. Carbon nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of the complexes provide evidence that substitution of heavy halogen has no significant effect on asymmetry induction at metal center of complex.
