Abstract

Usually Classical THEORY OF REVOLUTION explains revolutions with macro theory. The using of this theories induce to ignore some very important social variables in explain of social revolutions. Included values, moral order, belief, customs, and so on this problem is terminologically called 'cultural ignorance'. Afterwards the role of cultural elements occupied a higher position in anthropological researches and thus in studying social revolutions. This trend is known as .Cultural turn' in social studies. This article aims at showing influence of this turn in the field of studying Iranian ISLAMIC REVOLUTION in 1979.
