Abstract

This research with use of religious content in cognitive therapy protocols in group therapy framework has been adminstred. The research is a kind of semi experimental research with control group. The subjects of this research were male inpatients with mood disorder in psychiatric ward of the Noor Medical Center in Isfahan. During therapeutic period, groups consisted of 7 members were formed. By using B.D.I and S.A.S tests before and ofter the intervention, evalution ot the therapeutic method was done for experimental & control groups. Also drug therapies has participated in R.C.G.P. sessions. The results show that R.C.G.P. in compassion with control group has significant effect in decreasing depression (P < 0.05) and anxiety (P < 0.05) in inpatients with mood disorders
