Abstract

This research investigated that correlation of couple's attachment and MARITAL SATISFACTION in a sample of 182 undergraduate married couples. Each couple complete questionnaires of attachment style (AAQ) and marital satisfactin (Enrich MARITAL SATISFACTION Scale). Results indicated that secure attached and ambivalent attached couples of both sexes had higher MARITAL SATISFACTION than the avoidant couples. There is no meaningful difference between secure and ambivalent attached couples. ATTACHMENT STYLES of couple's cause different MARITAL SATISFACTION level. Mixture of secure attached men and secure attached women have higher marital statisfaction than mixed avoidant attached men and avoidant women. MARITAL SATISFACTION for couples with isotope attachment not found different than couples with nonisotope attachment couples.
