Abstract

This study was intended to investigate the effect of premarital relationships on marital confilict of the married student of Tehran university. Through clustering sample 80 subject were selected. This participant responded to the questionnaires. T-test was used to campare the mean of independent groups.The results showed that:1) The marital conflicts are more frequent among those who haven't had no relation before marriage. 2) The cooperation between those who have had previous relationship is less than those who have no relation; 3) Although, the sexual relationship between those who had previous relationship is less in comparison with those who had no relationship. The difference was not significant; 4) The level of emotional reaction of those who the had previous relation is less than those who had no relationship; 5) Statistical difference for family relation with the wives, friends and the friendly relationships was not significant; 6)There is a significant difference between the 2 groups of those who had previous relationship in financial problems.
