Abstract

Introduction: today using ICT has made fundamental changes in police function. So police trend is scientific and knowledge-based. According to this trend, following indicators are created: inform and train, trust building, promotion of public participations, receiving information and crime reports system and making a special unif for accountability of women. The purpose of this research is to study the role of ICT in process of continuity of police station services. Method: the research is an applicable and measurable one. The tool of gathering data is library and researcher made questionnaire. The statistical population is all 220 staffs in Karaj police stations whom were selected via random sampling using Cochran formula To analyze the found data person correlation method was used. Findings: the findings of correlation analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between training, trust building promotion of public participations, receiving information and crime reports system and process of continuity of police station services. Conclusion: this research data shows that ICT baked on its power, can play a significant role in trust building and, promotion of public participation, and makes the process of continuity of police services much better.
