Abstract

 The effects of Na+, K+, Ca2+, Mg+2, ratios on SEMEN biological characteristics in 21male samples of kutum (Rutilus frisii kutum) were investigated during spawning migration. All ratios were investigation three treratments Na+ to K+ (1:3-8 Mmol, 2:8-13 Mmol and 3:13-18 Mmol); Na+ to Ca2+ (1:100-400 Mmol, 2:400-700 Mmol and 3:700-1000 Mmol); Na+ to Mg2+(1:80-120 Mmol, 2:120-160 Mmol and 3:160-200 Mmol); K+ to Ca2+ (1:10-40 Mmol, 2: 40-70 Mmol and 3:70-100 Mmol); K+ to Mg2+ (1:3- 19 Mmol, 2:19-35 Mmol and 3:35-51 Mmol); and Ca2+ to Mg2+(1:0.1- 0.3 Mmol, 2:0.3- 0.6 Mmol and 3:0.6- 0.9 Mmol). It was found increase in Na+ to Ca2+ ratio resulted in significant (p<0.05) decrease of sperm duration and spermatocrit. Na+ to Mg2+ ratio effected on Na+ and total protein, K+ to Ca2+ ratio effected on Ca2+ and total protein also K+ to Mg2+ ratio effected on glucose and Mg2+. With regard effect of IONS RATIO on this parameters, that are sperm quality parameters, so IONS RATIO with others parameters should be regarded for selection of suitable quality sperm.
