Abstract

The purpose of present study was to compare the general health between amputee athletes and non-athletes.2000 subjects from the country sampled for this study .The instrument was General Health Questionnaire that have four subscales,somatic symptoms,anxiety and insomnia,social dysfunction, severe depression. The results showed that athletes were better than non-athletes for all subscales. In addition, there isn"t significant relationships between age and general health. In conclusion,physical activity have PSYCHOLOGICAL BENEFITS.for disabled people.
