Abstract

In order to determine the viariables that have interrelationships and to reduce the physiographic and hydrologic variables in this project, the factor analysis technigue was used. Through this technigue 29 variables were reduced to 4 factors, which could describe over 90% of variables revealing maximum load in the corresponding factor. Each factor was named. these factors ranked by their degree of significance were: 1) Area of the basin factor 2) Drainage factor 3) Topograpic factor 4) Slope of basin.
